Masato is more aware every day of what he truly feels for Asahi. After opening up to him, they spend a night together. For his part, Asahi does not clarify to Masato whether or not his feelings are reciprocated. The relationship between the two seems to have not changed after that night of passion and Asahi's sweet behavior gives Masato reason to think that there is some silver lining. The situation, however, changes completely with the arrival of Kôsei, Asahi's little brother. It was precisely Kôsei, whom Masato set a trap, for no apparent reason, causing a breakup with his then partner.
